Black Pearl
A full-rigged, three-masted sailing ship built plank-on-frame from coconut timber, with hand-turned masts and rigging laid thread by thread. The study follows the tall ships that once worked these waters — square sails set on the fore and main, a spanker aft, the hull carvel-planked and black-hulled above the waterline. Every ratline and deadeye is tied by hand rather than printed.
